Firefighter Trades

Built by a firefighter, for firefighters

Trade shifts without the mass email

Post the days you need covered, browse days posted by firefighters of your rank, and confirm the swap right from your phone.

Free. The iPhone version is live on the App Store. Android is in closed testing while we clear Google's tester requirement — the Android link walks you through the two-step signup.

How shift trading works in the app

1Post the days you need off

Pick your dates on the calendar, set the shift time, and add any notes or blocked hours so potential partners know the details up front.

2Find a trade

Browse days posted by other members of your department, filtered to your rank and outside your own division — in a list or on a calendar.

3Propose the swap

Offer one or more of your own posted days in exchange. The other firefighter picks whichever day works for them.

4Confirm and go

Both days lock in as confirmed and you can call or text your trade partner straight from the app. If plans change, either side can cancel and both days go right back on the board.

This app coordinates trades. It doesn't replace your department's process. Always finalize a trade through your department's official channels, following your department's standard operating procedures.

Want your department on it?

Departments run as separate, private spaces, built around your own department's ranks, stations, and shift rotation — not a generic scheduling tool. Setting one up is free, and takes one conversation.
